The weekly purchase of nutritious food for the Geelong Food Banks
In the recent past GFRC has witnessed unprecedented demand for Emergency Food. As a direct result this has dramatically increased the need to secure volume ambient food for GFRC Mini Marts and the Geelong Distribution Warehouse. In the 2020/21 period GFRC will provide Emergency food relief to approximately 38,000 individuals
throughout the G21 region. The financial support from the Tucker Foundation Grant will allow GFRC to continue to meet the Emergency Food relief demand by purchasing additional ambient food on a daily/weekly basis.

The Tucker Foundation has regular funding rounds.
